Education brings changes in human life. From the very beginning of civilization education has modified human life. Education enables the child to make sense of life. Most of the people think that education is mainly for economic development; but education is not only for economic development; but for all round development. Education makes a child able to realize his talents and potential. It helps the students to recognize their personal and social qualities. It helps the students to realize their inner strength to become a happy and successful person.
In the field of education all the Kendriya Vidyalayas are playing a significant role, focusing on the all round development of personality. By participating in co curricular activities the students are getting more and more chance to realize their talents and inner potential. In order to change the lives of the students, attention is paid to “co – scholastic” areas which refer to the aspects of the hand and the heart. It includes psychomotor skill, physical development, life skills, attitudes, values, interests and co- curricular activities. The “co- scholastic” areas provides platform for active involvement of the students in their own learning. It makes the students life joyful.
It is a matter of pride that all the teaching and non teaching staff are working hard to achieve the mission of KVS “to develop the spirit of National Integration and create a sense of Indianness among the children”.
